The tech bros in Silicon Valley should be on the list. The lack of accountability (only to shareholders?) and the damage to world peace caused by the misinformation, polarisation and outrage that they spread is incalculable. Every time legislation tries to rein them in, they cite the US vs China power dynamic saying China will overtake us if we you don’t let us do this and this, and they get away with it every time. Legislation can’t fix this, it starts with consensus, and the tech bros control the consensus. Maybe at some point the situation gets so egregious that the rest of the world ex China start pushing back hard and that forces a change. But don’t see a solution to this at the moment.
