Rather than letting diplomats quietly iron things out behind closed doors, he jumps ahead and declares it a victory, leaving each stakeholder else scrambling to work out the fine print and make it stick. Frankly, if he wants to be remembered as more than a one-day headline, this’s his moment to prove he can deliver substance, not just spectacle. My principle is clear: don’t hand out prizes for posturing; reward the grind of real peacebuilding.
