Should be more geopolitically calculated rather than merely on resources. But it's easier to convince the MAGA base by talking about the latter.

The roughly 300 billion crude oil reserves in Venezuela, while full of commercial challenges, are all proven. The oil and gas reserves in Greenland may amount to a few billion, but all greenfield. There is scope for imagination but the ice in Greenland is not going to melt fast enough to meaningfully change these estimates in a hurry. It is not obvious to me that Greenland should be the first option on the table in solving critical mineral problems. We can only do anything useful in Greenland a few months in a year. Little people. Little data on the resources. And someone needs to get basic infrastructure in place, like roads for example. It would surprise me if there ain’t easier alternatives. I could be wrong. What’s happening in Ukraine, Venezuela or Greenland makes more sense on a geopolitical level than from a resource point of view. But generally speaking, I think energy problems are on a different level of importance than mineral problems.

格陵蘭已有美軍長駐，又有條约保障，根本上已是美國勢力範圍，大家似乎一廂情願，認為侵侵不是要吞併，他自己已明言anything less is unacceptable ，所以真係無謂為他貼金緩頰。拉中俄做藉口，如果這兩國有此能力，形勢早就改變。你可以話此兩國有試投石問路，但侵侵只是順手用來搖樹射影而已。
