It's not really a plot hole if you read their comic books. I think Supergirl is stronger and faster than superman while Barry is faster than the reverse flash but slower than Godspeed I think.

There are a lot of plot holes concerning Barry’s speed that come up on a regular basis.

Plot hole - if Barry and Kara can move fast enough to move through time ... but travelling at Mach 7 will burn them up? :-p

Barry and Kara are supposed to die in Crisis, not just what happened here in Elseworlds. I have a feeling Oliver offered to sacrifice himself in the coming Crisis. So the abbreviated Arrow season will likely end as part of the Crisis crossover.

Hey Nikki, Hana, and Briana, the guy with the mask is not Clayface, he's the Psycho-Pirate, the villain who starts the Crisis of Infinite Earths. He's a lot cooler-looking in the comics because he's a entity-villain and isn't quite human, but I understand that the show can't quite show him the way he's supposed to be. Anyhow, that's why the E2 and E3 kept focusing on him in side-scenes, because he's the catalyst for everything that's to come. :-)
