That is so interesting. Thank you! I always thought he was a maths teacher because he used the maths of die probabilities as a basis of the game. It is a great game to play and can consume entire evenings!

Your comment prompted me to explore further. Turns out the guy was an unhappy dental technician that created the game in his basement as a way to escape his job. He is set now though!

Settles of Catan is a fantastic game. It was invented by a German maths teacher I believe. Fantastic game that tests your strategy! Risk is also good! Fantastic video! thank you!
