Slow Month + General Update!
🕑 Added 2021-02-20 23:30:33 +0000 UTCHi folks! Sorry for the super slow month this month! I have honestly just not been working much throughout Feb. I don't have much to share here because I haven't gotten much done, unfortunately! I've been mitigating a family crisis (finally resolved, at least as far as I am able, as of yesterday) since the 1st of the month, and it has been a really trying time, so I really appreciate you all having patience and understanding.
I don't wanna divulge too much personal info here, but the tl;dr is that my sister's been in an abusive marriage, and needed help with moving out & needed some emotional support as she prepares for the long road of divorce. It's been hard on everyone, and I tend to absorb emotional stress like some sort of empathic sponge, and that has made pretty much everything very NOT fun this month.
That stress piled on top of a month-long break from drinking (an admitted vice I'm self-correcting), AND the exhaustion that's come from starting personal training this month has just been a lot to handle. I've been engaging in a lot of escapism via shows, games, my charity work, etc to manage my stress levels (and just keep me from sleeping all day).
I'm doing well now, I'm happy to say, and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as these healthy choices start to FEEL healthy (instead of feeling like self-torture) and the other difficulties are slowly resolved. Some other crisis notwithstanding, I should be back to my usual self, output, and work schedule from here forward, and see no other roadblocks ahead at the moment, thankfully!
As always, I DEEPLY appreciate all of your support, patience, and the kindness you show me by supporting, engaging with, and enjoying my work. It means the world to me that y'all have my back here, with regards to valuing my work and the things I create enough to spend your own money on them. So, again: Thank you for that. Hardships and stress with your family being hurt are truly difficult and causes alot of worry. Though I'm glad you are in the least slowly coming around and bouncing back. As well as shes lucky to have someone supportive as you. Your awsome and your works are great! Wishing you better Kihu!!
