However, they often do not discriminate between harmful pathogens and beneficial bacteria in the gut microbiome. This lack of selectivity can disrupt the balance of the gut flora, leading to a condition known as dysbiosis. The importance of repopulating the gut after antibiotic treatment is multifaceted
When beneficial bacteria are diminished, opportunistic pathogens like Candida (a type of yeast) and Clostridium difficile (a harmful bacterium) can overgrow. These organisms are normally present in small amounts and are kept in check by the good bacteria. However, when their competitors are wiped out by antibiotics, these opportunistic pathogens can proliferate, leading to infections such as yeast infections or C. difficile-associated diarrhea, which can be serious and even life threatening. Most clostridium infections happens after antibiotic use.
The gut microbiome plays a critical role in digestion, nutrient absorption, andthe synthesis of vitamins (such as vitamin K and some B vitamins). After antibiotic treatment, it's crucial to repopulate the gut with beneficial bacteria to restore these functions as well. significant portion of the immune system is located in the gut. Beneficial bacteria interact with immune cells and can help regulate immune responses. An imbalance in the gut flora can impair immune function, making the body more susceptible to infections and further dysbiosis. What’s worse is that our healthy flora will not return on its own unless we intervene. This is why taking antibiotics as a kid can cause issues years later
1. Just thrive spore based probiotic
Spore-based probiotics are generally more resilient to the acidic environment of the stomach. Their endospores can survive the journey through the stomach, where other non-spore- forming probiotics might be destroyed or severely diminished in number. Some studies suggest that spore-forming probiotics can more effectively colonize the gut .Spore-based probiotics are often touted for their ability to withstand antibiotic treatment, which could make them particularly useful for repopulating the gut microbiome after or even during antibiotic use. Spore based probiotics are competive, and successfully colonizing the gut. spore-based probiotics might help prevent the overgrowth of pathogenic bacteriathrough competitive exclusion. Meaning that they will help not only repopulate the gut with good bacteria, but can also help remove any pathogens that may grown out of control

2. Ovagen bio-regulator
It may help in the regeneration of the mucosal lining of the Gl tract, which can be damaged by various factors including stress, poor diet, inflammation, and the use of certain medications like NSAIDs or antibiotics. Ovagen normalizes intestinal function by potentially influencing protein synthesis related to the Gl tract. Ovagen is a peptide bio regulator with specific affinity for regenerating damaged tissue in the Gl, making it particularly advantageous for conditions like leakygut.
SubQ injection: 1mg for 20 days
Capsules: 2-4 capsules for 20 days (the capsule version is called stakamort)

3. Tributyrin
Tributyrin is a triglyceride molecule that is composed of three molecules of butyric attached to a glycerol backbone. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is naturally produced in the lower intestine by the fermentation of dietary fibers by gut bacteria and has several important functions in the body, particularly in the gut. Tributryin (aka butyrate) serves as a prodrug of butyric acid, which means it is a precursor that is metabolized in the body to release active butyric acid. butyric acid is the preferred energy source for the cells lining the colon (colonocytes) and is essential for maintaining the health and integrity of the intestinal lining. By providing a direct source of butyric acid, tributyrin can help support the health of the gut lining, promote healing of damaged tissues, and reduce inflammation.
Dosing: 3 capsules a daily with each meal. If gas or bloating occurs, take 1-2 and build up
