Emoxypine (also known as Mexidol or Mexifin when used in Russia) is an antioxidant that is structurally similar to pyridoxine ( vitamin B6). Originally developed in Russia, it has a wide range of beneficial effects, including neuroprotective and anti- anxiety actions. One of the 'less discussed' benefits of emoxypine is its influence on vision, particularly its ability to increase blood flow to areas of the brain responsible for controlling retinal function. Emoxypin is particularly effective at improving focal vision, which may be useful for sports like baseball.
