The girl looked at Alexia like she wanted nothing to do with her, but after a few moments, she nodded stoically.
“By the way, I never introduced myself. My name’s Alexia. It’s nice to meet another future mom around here. I figure we have to stick together, right?”
The girl’s expression changed slightly in response to Alexia’s bubbly introduction. “Um. No offense, but I’m not exactly interested in making a new friend today. But…the name’s Rebecca. I’ll see you around…maybe,” she said and moved deeper into the waters away from Alexia.
