So... apparently that was actually a submachine gun Rico was holding in this episode, so... yes, they still do use guns even this far into the series, it's just 4Kids censored it, because of course lol. Jessie and James have their moments, like, James is obviously the kinder one from everything we've seen, like gifting Cacnea those snacks for saving them, but even Jessie has a kind side now and then. This was the 280th episode by the way, just to give you an indication of just how many beatings Weezing and Arbok probably took, they deserve a long rest as heroes.
