After managing to get herself out of the couch by what seemed to be a miracle granted by the goddess herself, Celleste quickly made her way into the bedroom to grab the emergency med kit. She knew time was of the essence, yet she wished her babies would just hold in just a bit longer - long enough for their father to be able to witness their arrival at least.
She undressed herself and bent down beside the bed that once witnessed her impregnation. Liquid had been dripped into the surroundings with each passing contraction. She tried her best to hold back and keep the babies in her for as long as possible, but there was no delaying the inevitable. Slowly, the first baby made its way through the birth canal. Celleste tightened her grip with each push as endured the pain. Just when the baby’s head had fully made its way out, the soft his of the main door could be heard, followed by recognizable footsteps. She looked up at the armored figure as another contraction hit, and in a mix of emotions said “Welcome back home, my beloved. You’ve - ungh - arrived just in time…”
