How NOT 2 Establish Big Walls
🕑 Added 2023-09-13 14:13:01 +0000 UTC4th of 8 Post for Sept: I edited this before my shower after getting down last night. It was such a special opportunity to join on this project a great addition to the Big Wall Bible. It also was a good break test for the store. 1-2 orders a day came in and Danielle got them out the same day. We are learning really light stuff is easy to ship internationally so far. I'm 7 years old on Saturday so I'm going to make a update video that I've been wanting to make for a while.
TODAY'S POST: I got to join Sam Boyce on the tail end of his project. He was establishing a big wall that is accessible by aid climbers and free climbers. The gneiss had few cracks but plenty of features to climb so the route required a substantial amount of bolts. The location is not public yet but will be when the route is detailed, a map made and a few attempts of a 5.13 send. He did this project with Kyle Willis and Lani Chapko.

Too tired to use a mic. Sound just bounces away and never back at us. Luckily i had no wind because that is always the risk of big wall audio.

The sound of this piece! It’s better than most studios, and you are somewhere in the midst of a big wall…?! Are you wielding some kind of mic-wizardry? Really nice interview by the way!
I should put them in touch
That trip to Jordan sound super cool! Is he getting in touch with the guy that makes the sweet glue in bolts in Jordan?
