Cow Tail Personal Anchor Drop Tests
🕑 Added 2023-07-19 13:01:00 +0000 UTC6th of 8 Posts for July: For the Unicore episode I was able to do 8 drop tests solo in 3 hours on my tree drop tower. Considering I filmed a lot around it and didn't have a clear direction on what to test when I started, that's not too bad because that's enough to do most the episode when you mix it with the slow pulls I did. I don't stop exploring a product when I'm working with a manufacturer until I shock them. Let's just say I have accomplished that and this will really help people understand what unicore actually is, what it's good for and what it is not good for.
Today's Post: Can you believe I'm still purging tests from the other lab??? That was the problem of filming back to back to back episodes 12 hours a day, stuff getting unorganized, sitting for months, then I sit on a couch for 6 weeks trying to edit it. I LOVE having this new lab in my home. Game changer. Next week is the last episode with tests from California.

Absolutely LOVE this video. SUCH GOOD, AMAZING *appropriate* gear fear!!
If something slipped it could be good. I got a purcel prusik video coming out in two weeks that explores things that slip

I would really like to re-visit your Valdotian Tress test w/ this. I'm imagining you tie in like normal. AND tie a VT Prusik also to your harness, and around the static (or dynamic rope if leading over a FF2 / sketch aid gear/ice) tether w/ a few feet of slack in the system. All because that VT slipped in your previous video at 2kN IIRC. That could work far better than a screamer.
