Update 2: The End of Power Corrupts
🕑 Added 2022-09-08 15:09:04 +0000 UTCI'm really into the heart of this animation now. Most of the assets are pretty much done, along with most of the voice work, and now I'm working on the actual animating itself (mouths, eyes, eyebrows, eyelids, bodies, backgrounds, camera, and effects).
I took a little break to create the image above, which is a compilation of all the different versions of Yahweh and Jeffery as they appeared throughout the entire series. Though these are all from a 3/4 angle, they also have versions from the front, side, and back.
Yesterday, my wife read her lines as Lucy. It was the first time she actually read the script. I was pleasantly surprised that she had to stop for a few minutes because it made her cry. I've never written a script that made her cry before. That action, more than any words, reassured me that I did a good job on it. I just hope it turns out as close to the version I envision as possible.
