DoD - Ch.205 - Shredded
🕑 Added 2025-10-10 10:22:00 +0000 UTCAs promised I prepared a nice lunch for my girlfriends and shipmates, then Sarah and I spent some quality time cuddling with Rebecca on the sofa in the ship's lounge. My tail somehow ended up on our captain's lap, so she could stroke my floof or hug it against her chest as necessary.
Meanwhile Jaycee Cam and Jenna stayed at the table in the mess. The three of them played some cards at first, but eventually their game was forgotten as they became more focused on their conversation. Although to be fair it was mainly Jaycee and Cammie doing all the talking, they were quietly discussing the various tragedies that hit their home town over the past day or so.
"What do you reckon you're gonna do next?" the catgirl asked at one point.
Jaycee shook their head and sighed, "I really don't know yet Cammie. It feels like Ganvis might need folks like me more than ever now, considering what they've just been through. I mean people who know how to fight, who can stand up for the town and try to keep people safe? But I also know they might not want me, now that I look like this."
Jenna asked, "Would you want to stay here? I thought you were eager to accompany Nyssa and Lady Magniveen on your recent mission to Korantis-12. I'm sure there'll be more opportunities like that in the future."
"Yeah I'd rather be working on a ship," they replied. "And I definitely enjoyed working with Nyssa. That'd be my first choice, travelling the stars and visiting other worlds with her. But if I'm needed here right now, then here's where I'll stay."
After a pause our guest added, "Either way I'm not going to be making any decisions until after I've had a good long talk with Nyssa. And speaking of, shouldn't she be just about done by now?"
The android replied, "Almost. I believe there's still another fifteen minutes to go, so it's a bit early to head down to my sister's Re/Gen capsule."
That made me grimace, and I whispered softly to Rebecca, "I should probably grab a nightshirt for Nyssa, so she has something to wear when she comes out. I'm almost positive she's going to have a big floofy tail, so the standard-issue coveralls aren't going to fit her."
"After all the begging and whining she's done I'd be shocked if she doesn't come out of that thing with a tail," my girlfriend whispered back.
Then she added, "And whatever she looks like when she comes out, I'm sure it'll be another excuse for her to head back to Rolandan-2 for shore leave. So she can get a new custom-fitted wardrobe."
I sighed, "You're not wrong. Until we can get back there she'll have to make do with what she's got."
Sarah teased, "Maybe she'll just borrow some of your outfits? Of course that's assuming she ends up as small as you are, cutie."
"Maybe," I made a face.
Something told me if I had to start lending my little sister clothes I probably wouldn't get them back. I had a feeling she'd 'accidentally' keep whatever outfits she liked. On the other hand I had a much stronger feeling that Nyssa wasn't going to make herself smaller. I knew she enjoyed being taller than me, and I couldn't see her giving that up.
So when the time came I grabbed one of my nightshirts to loan her, then Jaycee and I both headed down to the secondary hold together. My girlfriends opted to stay in the lounge, as did Cammie and Jenna, so it was just the two of us waiting next to Jenny's capsule as the last couple minutes counted down.
It was the first time I'd been alone with Jaycee since they got out of the Re/Gen pod, so I took the opportunity to broach a subject that had been on my mind all day. "This is really none of my business, but I honestly wouldn't have guessed you'd turn out to be trans."
"I'm not," they replied with a little shrug. "Jenny suggested maybe 'gender fluid' or 'gender queer' would be a better label for me? She also mentioned 'gender casual' and 'pan-gender'. Bottom line is I'm good with anything really, and like I said earlier I don't much care what pronouns folks use for me."
I hesitated a moment as all that sank in. Then despite already suspecting the answer I asked, "In that case why make the change at all? I know Jenny has male body files, wouldn't that have been easier?"
"I was curious to give it a try," Jaycee admitted. "After talking with your sister a bunch, I mean."
That pretty much confirmed my suspicions, and left me thinking I definitely needed to speak with Nyssa later. In the meantime I asked, "So you and Nyssa really hit it off then?"
The brunette smiled, "Yes ma'am. Pretty much right from the start, when we had that first evening of leave together back on Rolandan-2."
I nodded slowly before asking, "Nyssa told me you taught her how to shoot? She said something about it being a fun date?"
"That was just a couple nights ago," they nodded with another little blush.
They began to elaborate, "We landed in the capital city so Lady Magniveen could deliver her report to the government. She didn't need me for any of that, or Nyssa either. So your sister and I were both looking for something to do. I don't remember how the topic came up, but she told me that she'd never learned how to shoot. Apparently y'all weren't allowed to arm yourselves back on your home world? Anyways so I suggested -"
Their story ended abruptly when Jenny's capsule unsealed with a hiss. The door raised up slightly before rotating back out of the way, giving Jaycee and I our first look at my sister's new form.
The first place my eyes went was the top of Nyssa's head, and like I figured she had a pair of tall pointed vulpine ears sticking out above her hair. From there my gaze drifted down to her face, which was unlike her old appearance but still very familiar. Instead of looking like herself, she now looked like me.
That was another thing she'd been talking about, how she wanted the two of us to look like sisters. And she'd definitely got that wish. In fact I was pretty sure she'd somehow convinced Jenny to use the same original body file, although I was relieved to note that Nyssa and I weren't twins. Our faces were close enough that people would automatically assume we were related, they might even guess we were sisters. Especially now that she was a foxgirl like myself, there really wouldn't be any doubt or surprise about us being family.
That's where the similarities ended though.
The first difference was height, like I expected my sister was still taller than me. The second difference was her hair colour, which was still lighter than my own. She'd lost her original strawberry blonde though, now her hair and fur were both an orangey-blonde. In fact the colour was more like a faded version of my own deeper orangey-red shade.
"Oh wow," Jaycee mumbled softly after a second or two. "You look great Nyssa, but uh, I didn't know Jenny could that."
The brunette was looking further down on my sister's anatomy, but I was doing my best not to let my eyes drift away from her face. So I got to see her little fangs as her lips parted into a wide smile. Then she opened her eyes, which revealed another minor difference between the two of us. Where my eyes were amber, hers were a pale greenish-gold. And she now shared the same vertical pupils as myself and Cammie.
At that point my sister's big floofy tail started wagging back and forth between her legs, and I couldn't help glancing at the motion. Sure enough it was the same orangey-blonde colour as her hair and ears, except for the tip where her floof faded to a lighter cream colour like my own.
I also saw what Jaycee had been staring at, and my cheeks went bright red. I quickly focused on Nyssa's face again, while I tried and failed to push that image out of my mind. I definitely didn't expect to see one of those on my sister, but I knew it had to be thanks to one of those new mod files Jenny recovered from Idun's database.
"Here sis," I held out the nightshirt as I kept my eyes averted. "Make yourself decent please. Your sandals are on the floor where you left them."
She giggled as she took the garment off my hands, "You're such a prude Amanda."
"I'm not a prude!" I insisted as I turned around to give her some privacy. "I just don't need to see my little sister's naked new body. And I definitely don't need to know about that!"
She stifled a laugh as she replied, "I got to see you nude after your turn in the tube back on Tragentis-3. And incase you haven't already noticed, Jenny used the same base file for me. So my naked body's more or less the same as yours. Just a bit bigger, and with some fun new extras."
"Or a lot bigger," Jaycee mumbled. "Wow Nyssa. I uh... Gosh."
Curiosity got the better of me and I turned around to face my sister again. She was up and out of the Re/Gen capsule by that point, and fortunately she'd already put on the nightshirt. And both of those details made it obvious what Jaycee was referring to when they said Nyssa was bigger.
My eyebrows crept up as I found myself staring wide-eyed at my not-so-little sister. Because apparently I was wrong when I figured Nyssa would want to keep her original height. Instead of being a few inches taller than me she now stood a full head taller than myself, and I just knew she was going to use that detail to tease me. Her new height also put her a good four inches taller than Jaycee, and it was obvious the brunette was experiencing some new emotions about that too.
In fact my cheeks started colouring a moment later when I realized Nyssa's new height and athletic physique were both similar to Rebecca's. The only difference was instead of being a strong Amazonian redhead, my sister was a tall strong floof.
"Oh this is so cool!" she grinned down at Jaycee and I, while her ears angled forward and her tail stuck out behind her in a way that only added to the slightly predatory look in her eyes. Meanwhile my ears folded back and my tail tucked down low as I grimaced.
Instead of dwelling on the way Nyssa looked like she was getting ready to pounce, I decided to focus on something a little more practical. "That nightshirt's way too small on you sis. I'm surprised you were able to squeeze into it at all. It barely comes down to your hips, and it's way too short to hide your new uh, accessory."
The garment was stretched so tight across her newly enhanced chest that there was absolutely nothing left to the imagination. Every detail was clearly visible pressed against the straining fabric. And considering it was sized for my five-foot-zero frame while her new body had to be at least five-nine, Nyssa didn't even have to bend over to flash anyone looking her way. In fact I got the feeling she was one deep breath away from shredding the over-taxed fabric.
"I doubt any of your clothes will fit anymore," I added as I forced my gaze up to her face. Which meant craning my neck since she was standing so close to both Jaycee and I. "And even if they do, they're probably not going to be very comfortable."
Nyssa shrugged, which was all it took to pull the nightshirt's hem up from her hips to her waist. Then my sister looked to her friend and grinned, "Maybe I can borrow some of Jaycee's old clothes for now? And she can help herself to anything in my closet."
"You're about the same size I used to be, right?" Nyssa asked her friend. "And I'm pretty close to your old height now. Why don't the two of us head over to the Artemis, we can go through our stuff and figure out some new outfits for each other."
It seemed like Jaycee needed a little more time to process that, since they didn't respond right away. And I noticed their eyes were slowly moving up and down as they took in Nyssa's new physique.
So I took the opportunity to insist, "You cannot go out like that sis! It's not just the Demeter and the Artemis, there's a Vysalis troop carrier and a field hospital. The whole landing area is crawling with people. Soldiers, bureaucrats, medics, and locals."
"So what am I supposed to do Amanda?" she pouted. "I can't go out until I get some clothes that fit, and I can't get clothes that fit until I go out."
I sighed, "Just stay put for now. I'll ask Rebecca if she's got something you can borrow for a few minutes. At least that'll let you get to the Artemis without flashing half of Ganvis."
My sister stifled another giggle, while her tail flicked back and forth behind her. Then she wrapped an arm around her friend as she replied, "Ok prude. Me and Jaycee will wait here."
I rolled my eyes as I hurried up the ladderway to the main deck, then headed back to the lounge where my girlfriends were waiting for me.
"So what's the verdict?" Sarah asked with a grin. "Tail or no tail for Nyssa?"
"Tail. She's... Oh hell," my ears and tail all drooped as it hit me. I let out a sigh and pouted, "She looks like my big sister now. I'll bet she did that on purpose too. She's made herself a tall strong athletic foxgirl, while I'm the short cute little mascot floof."
Then I looked to the boss and added, "Actually that's why I'm here. Can Nyssa borrow something to wear? Just for a few minutes. She and Jaycee are going to head over to the Artemis so they can get changed. They've basically swapped sizes, so they're going to trade clothes I guess."
Rebecca looked like she was trying not to laugh as she nodded, "Sure Amanda. There should be an old nightgown in my closet that she's welcome to. The dark grey one?"
"Thanks," I replied as I turned and headed for her cabin.
I quickly found the garment in question, then popped into the guest cabin and grabbed the few things Nyssa left in there, including that big pistol she got from the mayor. Then I headed back down to the lower deck and handed everything over.
"Here you go sis," I stated. "I'm not sure if Rebecca wants the nightgown back, so please try and be careful with it. And once you and Jaycee are done maybe you two can come back to the Demeter, so we can figure out what we're all doing next."
Jaycee looked up at Nyssa and offered, "I can fill you in on everything that's happened today while you were with Jenny."
"Cool," my sister grinned at her friend. Then as she struggled to pull off my nightshirt she added, "Thanks sis! I'll bring back your girlfriend's nightgown afterwards."
A moment later a loud ripping noise signalled the demise of my badly-abused nightshirt.
"Oops. Sorry Amanda," Nyssa grimaced as she let the shredded black fabric fall to the deck.
Then she pulled on the grey nightgown, while Jaycee picked up the pistol and the other things I'd brought down from the guest cabin. Finally I unsealed the ship long enough to let the two of them out, and watched to make sure Nyssa and Jaycee went straight to the Artemis and headed inside. I finally sealed things back up again, then made my way up to the main deck.
Jenny's HPD emerged from her cabin to join the others in the ship's lounge area just as I got there myself. Our AI wasn't there to talk about my sister though, it seemed like she had something else on her mind.
"The Persephone just arrived in orbit," she announced. "Apparently they were dropping off a shipment at Fuminja Beta when they heard what happened here last night. Captain Nieves would like to know how she and her crew can help."
"They'd also like to know if you want her to bring the Persephone down here to Ganvis, or if they should rendezvous with the Tullrohane?" Jenny added.
