3/14/2017 Executioner Faces (second pass)

Initially I was never going to reveal their faces because I wanted people to imagine their own headcanons, however I always had an idea for how each one of them looked. As time went on, the story developed, and I got more attached to these dudes so I ended up just solidifying a canon look. A few of them get revealed in story so I thought, ah hell, might as well put them out there.
Truthfully, outside of this post or patreon in general, I won't be sharing any of this until the story is completely written and posted -- so this is a heck of an early preview!
I haven't tried to do a semi-realistic painting style in YEARS, like 4 at the very least, so this was a hell of a change for me. The one thing that tweaks my bum is that they almost all share the same eyes-nose-mouth proportions/distance, mostly to blame on the fact I rendered them all off of the same base head sketch, so I'll probably push those around at a later date. But I think, or I hope, that they all look unique enough even with that!
The bottom sketches were my first quick attempts to draw them, added with these just for comparison. I know Johann - Foxtrot - Smith ended up having similar faces in the sketches but Im like 80% confident I was able to distinguish them better apart in the renders.
BUT YEAH LIKE these are my murder boys and I love them.

i really like the design of Johann, really looks the part of the refined sociopath. also looks super German. Jack manages to look both clearly psychotic, and also still very original.
