This post is about my future plans for the next game.

As you already know, the development of the game "MOS or The Incredible Adventure of Huge Dick" has come to an end.
But then you will see the release of this game on a new engine. The new release will also contain, in addition to working on the new game engine, fixes for images and animations, and more than 60 new images that you have not seen yet. These pictures will be available to you as a reward for completing the stages of the game.
Also, the new version of the game will add a gallery of bonus pictures and a gallery of repeated views of interesting scenes. And one more very important change, animations will now be prepared as video files, so if you previously had problems playing animations, such as lags or slow playback, now everything will work fine.
I want to give the first part of this version of the game to you in the next 2-3 weeks.
Now directly about the plan of preparation for the next game. So, the preparation plan consists of several large stages and several smaller stages.
The first step is to compose the body of the game script (game plan). It looks like a lot of small blocks connected by lines. These lines indicate the connections between the blocks, as well as the direction of the script movement along these blocks. Each small block contains a short text - a description of what will happen in this event. After all, you already understood that each block means an event that will occur at a certain time and as a result of your choice. Also, each block contains parameters at which it becomes available to the player in the game.
The second step is scripting using the prepared body from the previous step. This is the so-called upsizing of event blocks. I.e. each block of an event is expanded by writing the full text of that event. This text will already be complete, including dialogues, questions, choices, branches, and most importantly, a description of the storyboard for each line. In general, this is the longest and most difficult stage. But it’s not that I have little imagination, but that I have to type a lot, it’s very, very much lot typing :-).
The third step is to create character models. This includes creating 3D models of all the characters for the game. The main emphasis should be on the appearance - this is the face and figure, there are also several rather important parts - this is the hairstyle, makeup and the color of the nails, of course :-). The names and characters of the characters are also important, and we will choose them in the first step. Since it is important to write a script already knowing about the characters of the characters. How they will react to events and in general, because their behavior consists of the characteristics of the character of each character.
The fourth step is to create locations for the game. Locations are places in the game where certain events will take place. Simply put, these are houses, apartments, cafes, restaurants, shops and other locations that are needed according to the scenario of the game. This work consists of several stages. First, I need to create 3D models of locations, then they need to be painted and furnished with furniture and various other things, such as paintings, vases, and so on. Then I need to setup the lighting of this location and make several preliminary renders of each of them in order to understand how this location looks in different lighting conditions and from different places.
Why creating locations is a separate step, and why this work cannot be done in parallel with other steps. It's very simple, when I write a script, I visualize in my mind what is happening about which I am writing. I.e. I literally imagine where one and the other character are, in what poses they are now, lying, standing, sitting, and so on. From this it turns out that when I write a script, I imagine some specific situation in the place where this event takes place. And when I create locations, I should already know where in this room there is a bed, a table, a door and a window from which the main light will enter the room.
I'll write you one example. When I wrote the script for the previous game, I did the location for it at the same time. As a result, in the episode where Casey comes to the MC's room to clean, and he sits at the computer and types something. Then she begins to show him her ass, then he shows her, etc. So when I was writing the script, I assumed that in this scene there would be a distance between them, somewhere 3-4 meters(10-13 foot). But I missed this moment when creating the MC room and it turned out that in this scene they were at a distance of less than a meter. You can't even imagine how difficult it was to create this scene the way I conceived it in the script. Therefore, it is very important for me to know before creating a location about the interior details in the room that I will be doing.
The fifth step is preparing a game engine project for a future game. This step includes the creation of the main menu and the game interface, all sorts of windows for displaying the game interface. Preparing icons, buttons, etc. Also I need to prepare the logic of the game in the engine. But I think that this stage will not take long, since I want to take something from the current game project.
The sixth step is to create the first episode of the new game. There isn't much to write about here. I'll just create events and scenes from the script I wrote earlier. The only thing is that when releasing the first versions of a new game, I would like to conduct polls about how you like them or not.
About voting. I want to be very active in consulting with you about some things in the game. After all, I am making a game for you; first of all, you should like my game. First, we will choose the genre of the game. Then the appearance, names and characters of the game characters, well, then it will be seen. I will be adding links to polls at the beginning of this post and on the home page.
The time it will take to complete these steps. Unfortunately, I cannot speak about the exact timeframe that I need for this job. After reading about the work that I will need to do, you understand how large and voluminous it is. Therefore, while I can guess, but I emphasize that these are very approximate dates.
So, for the first step, preparing the body of the script, I need about 1 week. The second step, writing a complete script, takes 4 to 6 weeks. The third step, character creation, will take 1 week. Creating locations is the fourth step and takes 3-5 weeks. Preparing the game engine is the fifth step - I'll be doing this in parallel with the other steps. The sixth step is the creation of the first episode, it takes 4 weeks as usual, but we will discuss this with you. In total, it takes about 3-4 months to release the first episode of a new game. But I emphasize once again that these are very approximate terms, since this time can both increase and decrease. But I will make every effort so that the terms indicated by me will only be reduced.
Regarding the publication of posts during the preparing of the new game. I will regularly post news on what I am doing. I will show you the results if they are visual. Also I think I will make special renders for you to please you while you wait for the new game. Now I plan to publish news more often than once a week.

Это пост о моих дальнейших планах по подготовке следующей игры.
Как вы уже знаете, разработка игры "MOS or The Incredible Adventure of Huge Dick" подошла к концу.
Но дальше вас ждет выпуск этой игры на новом движке. Новый выпуск будет содержать также, помимо работы на новом игровом движке, исправления картинок и анимаций, и еще более 60 новых картинок, которые вы еще не видели. Эти картинки будут доступны вам как награда за прохождение этапов игры.
Также в новой версии игры будет добавлена галерея бонусных картинок и галерея повторных просмотров интересных сцен. И еще одно очень важное изменение, анимации теперь будут подготовлены как видеофайлы, поэтому если у вас раньше были проблемы с воспроизведением анимаций, например рывки или медленное воспроизведение, теперь будет все хорошо работать.
Первую часть этой версии игры я хочу отдать вам уже в ближайшие 2-3 недели.
Теперь непосредственно о плане подготовки к следующей игре. Итак, план подготовки состоит из нескольких больших этапов и нескольких этапов поменьше.
Первый шаг – это составление тела сценария игры (план игры). Это выглядит как множество маленьких блоков соединенных линиями. Эти линии обозначают связи между блоками, а также направление движения сценария по этим блокам. Каждый маленький блок содержит краткий текст – описание, что будет происходить в этом событии. Ведь вы уже поняли, что каждый блок означает событие, которое произойдет в определенное время и вследствие вашего выбора. Также каждый блок содержит параметры, при которых он становится доступен игроку в игре.
Второй шаг – это написание сценария, используя подготовленное тело из предыдущего шага. Это так называемое разукрупнение блоков-событий. Т.е. каждый блок события расширяется путем написания полного текста этого события. Этот текст уже будет полным, включающим в себя диалоги, вопросы, варианты выбора, ветвления, и главное – описание раскадровки каждого кадра. В общем, это самый долгий и сложный этап. Но не в том, что у меня слабо с фантазией, а в том, что нужно очень много печатать, прям очень-очень много :-).
Третий шаг – создание моделей персонажей. Это включает в себя создание 3D моделей всех персонажей для игры. Главный акцент нужно сделать на внешности – это лицо и фигура, также еще есть несколько довольно важных частей – это прическа, макияж ну и цвет ногтей, конечно же :-). Имена и характеры персонажей тоже важны, и их мы с вами выберем еще в первом шаге. Так как важно писать сценарий, уже зная о характерах персонажей. Как они будут реагировать на события и вообще, ведь их поведение складывается из особенностей характера каждого персонажа.
Четвертый шаг – создание локаций для игры. Локации – это места в игре, где будут происходить те или иные события. Если говорить проще, то это дома, квартиры, кафе, рестораны, магазины и другие локации, нужные по сценарию игры. Эта работа состоит из нескольких этапов. Сначала нужно создать 3D модели локаций, потом их нужно раскрасить и обставить мебелью и разными другими вещами, вроде картин, ваз и так далее. Затем нужно настроить освещение этой локации и сделать несколько предварительных рендеров каждой из них, что бы понимать, как эта локация выглядит при разном освещении и с разных ракурсов.
Почему создание локаций это отдельный шаг, и почему эту работу нельзя делать параллельно с другими шагами. Все очень просто, когда я пишу сценарий, я визуализирую в уме происходящее, о котором пишу. Т.е. я буквально представляю, где находиться один и другой персонаж, в каких позах они сейчас, лежат, стоят, сидят и так далее. Из этого получается, что когда я пишу сценарий, я представляю какую-то конкретную обстановку в том месте, где происходит это событие. И когда я буду создавать локации, я уже должен знать о том, где в этой комнате стоит кровать, стол, дверь и окно из которого будет входить основной свет в комнату.
Напишу вам один пример. Когда я писал сценарий для предыдущей игры, локацию для нее я делал одновременно с этим. В итоге в эпизоде, где Кейси приходит в комнату МЦ убирать, а он сидит за компьютером и что-то печатает. Затем она начинает ему показывать свою попку, затем он ей показывает и т.д. Так вот когда я писал сценарий, я подразумевал, что в этой сцене между ними будет расстояние, где-то 3-4 метра. Но я пропустил этот момент, при создании комнаты МЦ и получилось, что в этой сцене они находились на расстоянии меньше метра. Вы даже не представляете себе, как было трудно создать эту сцену так, как я ее задумывал в сценарии. Поэтому для меня очень важно знать до создания локации о деталях интерьера в комнате, которую я буду делать.
Пятый шаг – подготовка проекта игрового движка для будущей игры. В этот шаг входит создание главного меню и интерфейса игры, всякие окна для вывода интерфейса игры. Подготовка иконок, кнопок и т.д. Также нужно сделать подготовку логики игры в движке. Но я думаю, что этот этап много времени не займет, так как я хочу взять кое-что из текущего проекта игры.
Шестой шаг – это создание первого эпизода новой игры. Тут особо нечего писать. Я просто буду создавать события и сцены по сценарию, который я написал ранее. Единственное, что выпуская первые версии новой игры, я бы хотел проводить опросы по поводу как они вам нравятся или нет.
О голосованиях. Я хочу очень активно советоваться с вами о некоторых вещах в игре. Ведь я делаю игру для вас, моя игра должна нравиться, прежде всего, вам. Сначала, мы с вами выберем жанр игры. Затем внешность, имена и характеры персонажей, ну а дальше будет видно. Я буду добавлять ссылки на голосования в начало этого поста и на главной странице.
О времени, которое понадобится на выполнение этих шагов. К сожалению, я не могу говорить о точных сроках, которые мне нужны на эту работу. Прочитав о той работе, которую мне нужно будет сделать, вы поняли насколько она большая и объемная. Поэтому, пока я могу предполагать, но я подчеркиваю, что это очень примерные сроки.
Итак, на первый шаг, подготовка тела сценария, мне нужно где-то 1 неделя. На второй шаг, написание полного сценария, от 4 до 6 недель. На третий шаг, создание персонажей, нужно будет 1 неделя. Создание локаций – это четвертый шаг нужно 3-5 недель. Подготовка движка игры – это пятый шаг – я буду заниматься этим параллельно с другими шагами. Шестой шаг – это создание первого эпизода, нужно как обычно 4 недели, но это мы с вами еще обсудим. Итого получается, что для выпуска первого эпизода новой игры нужно приблизительно 3-4 месяца. Но я еще раз подчеркиваю, что это очень приблизительные сроки, так как это время может, как увеличиться, так и уменьшиться. Но я буду прилагать все силы, что бы указанные мной сроки, только сокращались.
По поводу публикаций постов в период подготовки новой игры. Я буду регулярно публиковать новости о том, что я делаю. Буду показывать вам результаты, если они визуальные. Также я думаю, что буду делать для вас специальные рендеры, что бы порадовать вас, пока вы ждете новую игру. Сейчас я планирую публиковать новости чаще, чем раз в неделю.
