We're excited to announce that the third chapter of the epilogues is now available for download for all our Gold+ Patrons on Windows, macOS, and Android.
Just like in the previous epilogues, you'll get to explore the extended endings for another two of our leading ladies - and in this one, two of the most wanted ones: the alternative route with Valerie and the future life you'll get with Leah.
"But hey, didn't you guys say it was going to be three endings per epilogue?" Yep, and the third and different ending of this episode is not coming today. It needed a final polish and we prefer to do it and deliver a great gaming experience than delivering something we are not happy with. But don't worry, it comes soon - we'll keep you posted!
Leah
Leah, that fire to seek the truth, justice, will never go out. Thus, your life alongside her will be intense - and with already known enemies. Characters from the past will return to be part of this story and... well, the fight continues!
Alternative ending with Valerie
If you chose to take command of the Fraternity and decided that, alongside Valerie, you will pursue the path of power at any cost, get ready. If the political path is set, it may be that a very important person will make you have to deviate from your perfect plan to solve some "problems".

Game Install Instructions
IMPORTANT: Do not play previous builds (0.1.x, 0.2.x etc). Always play the latest build available (it contains all the episodes). Since we are constantly improving the engine, executing a previous build after you've run a newer one could corrupt your progress.
Itch App
Please consider installing SHS through the Itch App instead of downloading it using your browser. Itch App will automatically keep the game up-to-date through smaller patches (as Steam does, for example), which comes in handy as the game gets bigger over time. We have a tutorial on how to use it. Patreon Authentication
The game requires direct access validation using your Patreon account. Your subscription (gold or more) must be active for the API to recognize it. If you pledged and canceled it right afterward, the validation process could fail. Please re-enable your pledge (you won't be charged again) and try again.
If your browser doesn’t open when clicking “Login with Patreon to play this episode!”, please check your system default browser settings and make sure your preferred browser is selected.
If the authentication process doesn’t work, please make sure to whitelist Shale Hill Secrets in your antivirus/firewall settings. Also, log out and log in from Patreon in your browser. Whitelisting our domain (https://shalehillsecrets.com/) in your browser's ad blocker/security extension can also do the trick.
Windows
Download the game, extract the zipped file to a location of your choice and then run the Shale Hill Secrets executable. The game should open straight away after this. Do not attempt to open the file without extracting it first or you’ll get an error message! Do not mix these files with previous releases! This release contains all the episodes.
macOS
Double click Install Shale Hill Secrets.dmg. Then, in the window that opens, drag and drop the app to the Applications folder.
If the DMG file doesn't open, this means Gatekeeper could have quarantined it. It can be fixed by running this command in Terminal:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine $HOME/Downloads/Install_Shale_Hill_Secrets_v0.18.7.dmg
Android
Your device needs to be able to install APKs outside of the Play Store. If it isn't, you need to enable that option first. Since Android devices have different ways of doing this, depending on the maker and model of your device, we recommend that you search online for instructions on how to do it.
After downloading the file, open the APK and select "update". Don't uninstall the previous version or you might lose your progress.
The current build for Android was made using Beta tools in order to keep the APK under 2GB. Please let us know if it is working well on your device.

Goodness this update had its ups and downs! Overall a good update. Loved and was personally looking forward to the Leah route ending. Also don't fret too much on the 'surprise' route (my bet is it being a harem route), you aren't the only ones who appreciate the time and effort you put into your game(s). On a side note and this is purely due to my own mental health and not a comment on the Val (Evil) route, but I get so much anxiety when the MC makes 'evil' choices. Thank for allowing us the choice to turn that route around. I am still reeling, but I appreciate that.

Use the arrows to move back to the epilogues. Next time the game will remember the last episode/epilogues you played

I just downloaded what is meant to be epilogue 3 marked 18.7; however, when I began playing I was back to the beginning of the story. Is that supposed to happen?
