My concept for a Family Culture conlang was that words are built from “attributes,” basically, adjectives, that you combine a bunch of to make a specific word. Parts of speech are also denoted by attributes. Attributes are (kind of) pictographic. You can omit as many attributes from a word as you want, as long as the meaning is discernible from context
