I never actually explain this in the video, but the comedy inserts are based on the independently discovered FYAD/Weird Twitter-like shitposting tradition from the Ukrainian parts of Telegram. You make up a bunch of 'lore' about a provincial Russian town and then inhabit a character from that town and a develop a story from there.
