I’m loving these reactions on these classic movies. This movie is the perfect depiction of a dysfunctional family. The family used Terri, played in her face & made her out to be the bad guy. The reason why Bird didn’t set any boundaries with Simuel is because she was probably still messing around with him & he probably told her that Lem was a downgrade from him. Simuel deserved that tray to the face when he showed up to Lem’s job disrespecting him. They tried so hard to make Teri the villain in this movie when the truth is her whole family ain’t sh*t. She’s a lot kinder than I would’ve been with a family who uses her and deceives her the way they do. Such a great movie filled with lots of lessons about how some families are. I also think it’s funny them eating all that damn food when that’s kinda what killed big mama 💀
