So many lessons in this but my favorite is the young fish looking for "the ocean" because the idea of the ocean sounds so grand. But when you're actually in the ocean.... it's just water. Joe thinks he's not living his dream but what he claims to be in love with is playing music. As a music teacher, he does play music - every, single day. Yet he's unfulfilled because "middle school music teacher" doesn't sound grand. But it is literally his dream - he is a professioinal, full-time musician. He just doesn't appreciate it.
