🕑 Added 2024-12-11 02:05:27 +0000 UTCHello! First, let's talk about the dungeon. People seem to mostly enjoy it but a few of you seem to have gotten quite frustrated very fast, let's address two points!
1. The main point of the dungeon is to lose, not clear it!
I think a lot of people misunderstood this part.
The game's description said from the start that it will feel like a terrible escort quest.
You can clear the game along the intended NTR route by losing your way through the dungeon.
The only thing you get for beating the boss is gold and some combat related items.
Keeping Luna alive throughout the dungeon parts is technically considered the vanilla route where a bit of frustration is intended by design. This is an NTR game!!
2. Because of an issue that Anon's staff un-equipped when going in and out of the game, some people got the impression it was impossibly difficult and gave up instantly.
I'm not sure what to say! I knew it was an issue but didn't think it would be that big of a deal, so I had Luna remind the player at the dungeon entrance to double-check equipment.
Sorry if it caused confusion! (The 1.5.1 update fixed this already).
3. Some people said: The combat is too complex and not worth the development time.
Combat will not gain much more complexity than it is right now, it was the "Luna walks through a dungeon" part that interests me.
Now that I got the system in place it's a perfect playground for lots of lewds.
If it wasn't made clear from the update, Luna is a bad tank and just walks into stuff!
I can now easily make H enemies that can only be avoided by body-blocking Luna to walk around them, for example.
For the purpose of lewds I think this system can be a lot of fun. Again, losing was always the main goal.
I got worried when reading comments such as "The dungeon is too hard, I just want to see the lewds". If you want the lewds then there basically is no combat, after all the update shows that you can progress forward through the rooms by just not healing Luna.
Okay, now that I got those things off my chest, let's talk about what's next.
You guessed it! Lewds. Slight spoilers ahead.
It's about this time in the story where lewd IRL events begin creeping into Anon's life. I've heard so many people ask "If it's just in the game, how is it ever going to be NTR" ... just you wait!
That said, I was wondering if I should show the second town and include it in the next update already.
But all the upcoming lewds are focused around the first town and IRL.
There would be nothing to do in the second town other than dry story so let's keep that for later until we can include some H events with it.
For now, let's just make sure that Luna doesn't actually get recruited by another party.
What's next?
Because the dungeon didn't have many lewd events yet we have some catching up to do regarding Luna's H events. After that we'll do the second town.
But here's a problem: my artist wants to draw Sana again.
After the next Luna update we would like to take a short break to make some Sana content for one update.
If that's alright with everyone I'd like to talk about some plans regarding Sana's bonus chapter next time.

Aside of my bad RNG i was not expecting people to have trouble in the dungeon at large or forget that Luna was meant to be an awful tank. In regards to Sana nothing like having part of your team wanting to go back to a previous project for one reason or another I think it happens to all every now and then so dont worry, personally I think it helps avoid burnout and Luna is still early enough to not be that bad to take a rest to plan ahead and avoid the typical "reworks"
