Most of the time you get health insurance from your employer as an adult, and from your parents as a kid. But because it's an imperfect system, a lot of people slip through the cracks if they're unemployed or on the outs with their family as a teenager. There were points when I lost my job where I just didn't have it and rolled the dice with hoping to never get sick or injured. America really is scary when you don't have a job and can't afford health insurance without it.

Yeah I thought that to but they never actually said he was fired?? He just never went back to work after that ππ

I did do a three episode finale video a couple seasons ago so might just do that again! The thing with the last clip episode was that it has a couple new scenes in it π©π© so donβt think I can skip it just because I donβt wanna miss a scene or two, it will just end up being a shorter video because I wonβt have much to say ahaha

Americans have it rough jeez π©

Ross got fired from the Museum. I think what finally got him fired was when his boss came to his apartment and Ross freaked out again and yelled "GET OFF MY SISTER!!!!" when he saw Chandler and Monica kissing.

Chandler has not officially moved out yet. That comes in another episode. You are correct about insurance. You either buy it, or get it at a discount from your employer. Its a lot more expensive if you work for a small company, or are self employed.

chandler was always best boy
Chris
Between Joey's creepy ad and behavior and Ross with not telling Rachel about the annulment, the only one looking good is our boy Chandler!

Yeah, American healthcare sucks and always has. Source: an American who, while physically fine, is neurodivergent and requires extensive AND expensive medication just to function.

I love that Rachel's initial reaction to the lawyer's phone call was that Ross got married again π

By the way! This season is 25 episodes rather than the regular 24 for some reason. So if you continue as normal, going forward your videos will be like messed up where you'll do part 1 of a finale in one video, then part 2 of the finale in another video and then the first episode of the next season in the exact same video. So the obvious solution to fix is to react to three episodes in one video to get it back even. And there's a perfect episode to do it with! Episode 20 is a clip show episode and as you know not many people like those episodes in general, nevermind reactions to them. Even I personally skip them. So you could just fit that in as a third episode in one video, because lets face it with the clip show episodes the reactions gonna be 5 mins anyways, and the review even quicker. Then after that, the ordering will be fixed again and back on track!

insurance usually covers children until they're in their mid 20s. you can buy insurance individually but it's MUCH cheaper to buy from your job. we used to have obamacare as a "reasonably" priced alternative for people who couldn't get insurance through their job. even with insurance medical bills can be ridiculously expensive. payment plans are usually available

he's gone into teaching university instead of working at a museum. he's still a scientist. no we just have giant corporations that charge us more for health coverage than we'd pay in taxes for government coverage and deny us about as often with looming threats of medical bankruptcy from one hospital visit. i'd call episode 4 still early in the season.
