Feedback and future development

Firstly, thanks to everyone who has joined the Patreon recently, both free and paid members. It means a huge amount.
Over the last week I’ve been reading feedback and it’s been mixed… So I thought I’d address a few key points here:
- Bugs - It was disappointing to see the number of bugs that people encountered. The non-linear nature of the game does make bug testing hard. But I will take more time to work on this going forward.
- Combat - one of the biggest complaints is the combat system. I am currently working on completely overhauling this and rebuilding it for the top down.
- Grindy - One of the biggest complaints is that the games grindy. To fix this I will be making resources quicker/easier to get. I’m also hoping that expanding existing systems and the main story will make the game feel less grindy.
- Mini Games - As part of the combat overhaul, the defence mini game is getting scrapped! (I also f**king hated it). The archery game will stay as a side quest but it needs improving, and the lock picking will remain for now.
- Discord - some people have requested a discord, this isn’t something I ever planned on as I didn’t expect the demand for it. I would like hear people’s thoughts on this. If you think a discord chat would be useful please leave a comment or like or DM me.
To finish off, I will of course be continuing the development and I aim to have more frequent updates going forward. Thanks again to everyone who joined recently and especially everyone who has been supporting for a while!

discord has my pref. Easier to chat. Also a good way to release a pre-release and work together with your community to bug hunt before release a version publically.

Did you extract the folder? I assume your on a windows computer, if it’s not extracted the file icon will have a small zip on it. Just right click on the file and click extract all, then click extract on the window which pops up
