He must investigate why would a fellow naga do such things instead of just hypnotizing the girl to do whatever he wants! If reteach goes well, he might have a big thing planned for you later.
While it might seem small, it's actually pretty big. You gotta visit Azkim multiple times to see everything, and have learned something from a certain wolf if you haven't already.
