Boss Tactics?
🕑 Added 2022-04-25 13:48:57 +0000 UTCSo, right now we're trying to keep the boss docs within a certain word count, though the time will come when this expands.
For now, a few of you have suggested tactics advice for monsters, particularly the bosses.
We're thinking we can replace the "Adventure Hooks" section of the boss docs with a "boss tactics" section instead.
We think "Adventure Hooks" overlaps decently with "Quests," but figured we'd ask you folks to see what you prefer.
To be clear, there will always be a "Quests" section.

It's something we've definitely talked about, the good news is that the next couple weeks of releases we've collaborated with some map creators to make maps for the bosses. We're also looking into more regular collaborations for lair maps (perhaps at least one a month) in the meantime while we figure out if its something viable for us to provide regularly.
This may be asking for a lot but also having a cool encounter map for the boss would be awesome. Tactics would definitely be appreciated but also having a map that plays into the tactics would be top-notch!
Yeah, this is pretty much exactly where we're at. Tactics coming this week! Quests we'll be building upon soon enough.

Having read through "The Rotting Lord" PDF. I'd say that the Quests and Adventure Hooks are pretty much the same thing. The Adventure Hooks are just a bit more worked out than the Quests, but both still give the same general idea. Boss tactics could be pretty beneficial while maybe giving a little more detail to the quests section?
