Christmas time is our favorite time of the year, it's so much fun to decorate, play some Christmas Jazz and look forward to the New Year!
Our December has been a mix of up and downs as unfortunately we will need to try again to start a family due to a miscarriage. Luckily, spending time with family and having the holidays lifted our spirits and we have recovered emotionally from the loss. We're trying again in hopes to make a gifted Christmas tree ornament come true, that we will have a newborn baby in 2022! If it does take us some time that's okay, we are using the downtime as it's own blessing, safely losing winter weight, getting more into yoga and making diet adjustments to improve our chances.

BBS Update News
Our lead programmer is having a family vacation for Christmas and we have been crunching hard to finish our update before the date. He has been a real trooper and has been working as much as he can (Even on Christmas Eve!) trying to get the update done in time for our fans while also recovering from a winter flu.
Fortunately, family is happy to have his work laptop come along from the trip so we may still be able to finish the build over the New Year break. We apologize for the delay on the Snoggler update, most of our efforts have been dedicated on cleaning up scripts so that making quick edits and fixes is much faster.
We have had a major breakthrough in terms of optimization, having purchased a license of TexturePacker after getting great results getting our custom pallet engine and HD sprites working with atlas sheet. While the public build is only 300mb, our Unity build is over 50GB due to bad compression. Unity takes our sprites and creates x10 the file size in bloat meta data. We now believe we can reduce our sprites from hundreds downs to 1-2 atlas sheets per character. We suspect this will cut the file size by 90% and improve our re-import time from hours to minutes.
The way we were working before was effective while the game was small, but it was creating a bad bottleneck for our programmer, greatly slowing down their ability to make changes without long load times (Upwards of 5 hours for a full re-import). It's exciting to no longer worry about how many thousands of frames of animation we can include in the game now an atlas that contains 50-100 frames is now only 1-2mb. This will also lead to smaller public build sizes, faster load times and may improve performance on lower end systems as this is the same method used for mobile games. The optimizations come with no reduction in sprite quality or lowering resolution.
We have re-assurance that once things are cleaned up on the back-end that the Snoggler can be polished in short turn-around. We'll only need to make these fixes once to benefit from the efficiency for months to come!
We greatly appreciate everyone who believes in the project and has been patient over the holidays. We don't have anything in our schedule besides work across December/January so we will be slogging! We will be revealing a new s*x scene soon. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!

I really hope you are able to achieve your dreams next year the two of you! I felt very sorry to read this sad news. Let's indeed lift that spirit up with joyful Christmas cheer! Also, I believe I read somewhere here that BBS was almost finished, but then why is all this optimisation done? I really really really hope there will be as much content as there could be <3 but optimising at the end of the road seems a little wierd to me.
