March Content News!

Jade and Baxter added to the Character Select screen!
While they aren't ready to play, you can play around with their pinup animations and strip them down to their 'ol natural fur coat by toggling the difficulty level! These multi-layered Spine animations are a sizeable workload to make, so knocking them out at the start helps us finish up the easier animations later on!
Both Jade and Baxter will get a HD 'GAME OVER' animation sequence like Verge and Gen! These scenes will also be added as unlockable content in the gallery in the future so you don't need to lose the game to enjoy them.
Updated Character Select Portraits!
No more ugly mystery men on your select screen! Some characters use 2021 art from the Bare Backstreets Comic, whereas characters like Genesis who we discovered has not been illustrated clean essentially ever, has brand new art!
Jade Clothing and Air Attacks!
Some of the early jade animations we showed off a month ago have been cleaned up, her moveset is about 90% done now and just needs a few touch ups. We've moved our art team onto s*x scene conversions!
In this little montage of attacks, we're showing off Jade's down air attack, neutral air, forward air, combat role and charging counter attack! Some of our old school fans may recognize that the counter attack has many similarities to the attack Vergence performed in the original BBS prototype that was made completely with Spine animations. This move behaves the exact same way in which you trade clothing for big damage! We also plan to bring back weapon and gun attacks for Jade and Baxter respectively.
She will likely be ready to implement by the end of March but may take a little more time then that to code since most of this month is dedicated to refactoring our animation state machines to make it easier to add new content to the game.
Programming Position News!
A great deal of gratitude to everyone who applied for our programming position last month! We've successfully hired on 2 new part-time programmers and have brought over one of our casual programmers who was working on a early Amorous 2 concept. This gives us 4 programmers and active development every day of the week to alleviate the bug bottleneck we were encountering last month.
We did need to spend the first half of February to interviews and training, but the latter half was a substantial boost in programming productivity. I've given the programming team an extension to finish the new refactor they have been working on that was the root cause of the delays, which should be finished by the end of March. Once complete, we likely won't be seeing similar delays again for the rest of development.
New and improved credits screen!
Now that Jade and Baxter are confirmed, they are popping up all over the game! While the text crawl on our credits was always something I found to be a great idea, the rest of the scene was pretty static and boring, no more! Enjoy watching Verge and crew eat popcorn and blow courageously in the horny winds while getting to see the names of all the awesome supporters that help make this game a reality!

A Personal Milestone!
I recently became a Canadian Citizen and had my ceremony over Zoom! While a bit of an awkward experience, this is a goal I've had for the past five years and has taken a sizable amount of money, time and paperwork to achieve. Overall moral is high and I'm hoping that when we can put all the new content together that you enjoy the new update when it's ready! Thankyou for your continued support <3
