BBS June Content News Update!

WE'VE GOT DICK N' BALLS!
Thanks to our excellent supporting artist TimTesy#7581 , we've been able to make time for a feature we would have otherwise pushed back towards the end of production, NSFW mode! All characters are no longer barbie dolled when nude. A SFW mode will be added to the game for those who want to stream the game without risk of dicks showing up on their stream. Sex scenes will be disabled in this mode!
Revamped HUD Design!
While our circular healthbar design was fun, it didn't really make much sense to our playtesters and lacked a lot of important information. It was not immediately evident that the small peach colored vertical meter was the health, or how the climax mechanic worked.
The new design is more fitting for the genre and should be far easier to know the status of your character from a quick glance!
Street Stage Returns!
The classic streets level from the original 2015 BBS prototype is back with all new HD parallax layers! We have made multiple building variations to keep the scrolling effect fresh, with many small details you will only see by scaling the stage vertically.
The first version of our streets stage features a sunset aesthetic, with the night version serving as it's alternative variation.
More Enemy Variety!
Enemy AI is getting a bit smarter, no longer will they get stuck forever on ledges and forget their existence in corners! The werewolf is receiving a new kick attack and may receive different stat variations, buffs and levels of aggression based on what color you see ingame. Winter werewolf may apply a freezing effect on hit or the rare red werewolf will unleash serious damage!
Each enemy will receive a minimum of 6 unique pallets, more will be revealed when the build goes public.
Pallets Fully Implemented!
You'll be able to play Vergence or Genesis in all 12 of their color variations in the upcoming build. His clothing will also receive some new color options once they are drawn on all frames. We hope our large selection of pallets allow you to roleplay as your favorite scaley characters!
Other News!
Myself and Kabs successfully bought our new home this month and are moving in this Saturday! This should not impact production of BBS much this month as we are very excited to announce Bare Backstreets finally has a full-time programmer!
RearmedDreamer#7147 has gone above and beyond to demonstrate his passion towards the project, consistently pumping out 5-6 hours of dev logs every single day for the past 4 weeks. He's officially signed on as our programming lead and has adapted to our build incredibly quickly! He has been very easy to work with and has already solved many of the projects major programming hurdles.
Previous lead programmer Roy Artorius#2164 has been released from the project due to being out of sync with our teams mission statement. We wish him well for his future endeavors. BBS will be hiring our first sound engineer come July to revamp all of our sound effects and potentially a new soundtrack. This will expand our teams size to 5!
We're really happy to find our groove with finding reliable team members. Over on Kabs comic Patreon, we've found a great team of supporting artists that have greatly boosted the speed in which we can pump out pages. Thanks to the support we have received on this platform, you have made our dreams a reality. We are extremely grateful to have our own home as a result of Patreon giving us consistent monthly income. It makes us feel making furry art can and is a career anyone can pursue if they are passionate!

I'm glad there's finally news on the game again, especially a big update like this. The new HUD looks far better as well, so I approve of that. Can't wait to play it, hopefully soon

Congratulations on the new house and new crew members. I can' t wait for the new pallets that are coming out so I can make Vergence into Spyro. Too bad Kabs doesn't have the Cynder pallet, the Legend of Spyro would've came to life.
