I appreciate the 4.1 ... 4.8 numbering, it is helpful. I go to full screen to watch each match, and afterwards when I come out of full screen, Patreon often puts me several bouts earlier in the list, and the numbering makes it easier to recover my position for the next match. I wish Patreon had a way to just play the collection in chronological order from a given starting point... Thanks for all you are doing for Sumo! It is very nice to have NHK english commentary during the actual bout again, we had missed it.

well - I'm a little lonely as I never got married, so will probably move back in the next few years to be close to my remaining family in the States.... Of course, if Trump is elected and things are getting worse, I could change my mind... :)

Terunofuji obtained Japanese citizenship the month following his yokozuna promotion in 2021. I don't think he has publicly said, but I would figure because of that he plans to join the Association and stay involved in sumo.

I have always wonder why don’t you (Jason) get Japanese citizenship? Japan unofficially recognizes dual citizenship and you have been there 20 years and with the way the USA is bullet training off Mt. Everest I’d figure you’d want to stay there..

Yes, yes, yes, Japanese citizen, same surname as his stablemaster Isegahama, former yokozuna Asahifuji Seiya, i. e. Suginomori. I expect him to follow Isegahama oyakata, since Isegahama's nephew, former Aminishiki opened his owned stable, Ajigawa beya (in 2022 methinks).
