If he doesn't get his 8, the only way he would miss September is if he was in a hospital bed hooked up to machines, really. He has done the 10-win Ozekiwake bounce-back before, and I don't think he would miss the chance to try it again. But I agree that something seems off. The ferocious power just isn't there

Takakeisho has no strength in his upper body because of that neck injury, it seems if he doesn't capitalize on the initial first push he has nothing else to win. I think if he doesn't win his next 3 to get to 6-5 he should shut it down and miss the next basho also. I'm a big Tak fan and this is making me sad.
