I just wanted to take a moment to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who signed up over here to watch the matches with me. I really appreciate the support! Only 3 more members and we'll be at 300 members who can watch sumo and be part of the community here, so that's a great start!
I do want to pick some random members and send you a nifty SUMO prize, but since I am leaving for the States on Wednesday, I will wait until late August to do that as a way of reminding everyone that the September basho is coming.

Thank you for all of the coverage this basho Jason! I metioned it in the Teru match, but this basho marks 6 years I have been watching sumo on your channel. I found it from a random YouTube recommendation when I was bored in a hotel room out of town for my grandmother's funeral, and it helped keep me occupied and my mind off of everything. Mitakeumi won his first yusho that basho, and the blue lights of Nagoya will always be nostalgic to me for that reason. I hope they keep the lighting somewhat similar in the new Nagoya arena. Thanks for everything!

Thanks for the coverage again this basho, Jason! Overall I think the matches on Patreon + the youtube summary show worked out well. Besides the Emperor's Cup race I also enjoyed seeing Hiradoumi having a great tournament, plus all the excitement down in Juryo
