That does depend on how the sekitori above him perform. During the last basho, there weren't enough candidates for promoting to demote the lowest ranked Makuuchi fighter with a 6-9 record...

It's probably just poor memory on my part, but it seems like Takerufuji gets a little bigger each time he shows up. Can't wait to see him an Onosato go at it.
