In relation to contacts, I've seen them knocked out in boxing matches so I would assume it would happen in sumo too, meaning your sight is out of focus due to the different views from each eye Not a definitive answer but could be the reason!

Onosato is the easy answer to your question Jason. I'm a fan of the Waka brothers - something with both of them on it would be awesome. And there has to be some tribute paid to the Iron Man Tamawashi! Honestly it would be easier or me to say who I don't really care for, because that's a very small group. A big part of the reason I like sumo is because the rikishi are by and large decent people that show at least a modicum of respect for each other. Unlike so many popular sports in the USA. Sport culture in the US makes me sick.
