Ooooookay, tomorrow (today) I will count the votes and we will find out the winner of the poll.
I haven't been fooling around all this time either. At this point, I've already fixed all known issues. Since there don't seem to be any critical bugs, I will release the fixes with the next update.
About that... I told you I've figured out a way to release updates on time. I just have to be one step ahead, so by the time I release an update, the next one should be halfway done... At least that's the plan I'm working on right now.
So I've already written some text for the next updates and tested the features I plan to add in the near future.
About the speed of releasing new versions.
Here's the plan. From now on we will have big, numbered updates dedicated to the character you chose in the poll. Numbered, meaning that the number after zero will change - 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, etc.
They will be released every 2-3 months, just like before. I will of course try to get everything done as quickly as possible, but I'd rather make a realistic prediction now and give a pleasant surprise if I can get it done faster.
But now there will be intermediate updates, like 0.7.2, 0.7.5. I think there might be one or two minor updates between the major ones. I'd like to release something new every month, so you can see that I'm working and things are moving. Also, I'd like the game to be featured on profile resources more often so people don't forget about it.
The minor updates will release content that didn't make it into the major update, some additional quests or events. I would have done that content anyway, it's just that before I would have left it until the major update.
Instead of the additional content, there might be something else. Like various improvements. Here's a rough list of what I've got planned right now:
1) Add guides and hints to quests and character skills.
2) Progress tracker, so you can see if you missed something.
3) Mobile version.
4) More work on fights. (More and better animations, skill balance, finishing the skill tree).
5) Music overhaul (I want to replace the music in the game with a better and more enjoyable soundtrack. You may have noticed a couple or three good new songs in the last update. That's all I can do for now. Good music costs money, so that's where I need your help. This point will have to be postponed until I can afford it.)
7) Other improvements and tweaks. Additional scenes, more choices, etc. (It's probably best to wait until we've finished the first major part of the game for this.)
8) Bug fixes, typos, etc.
This is not a full list and will continue to be updated. The order is also random. One of these updates will be released in the near future.
