1. "Should I ask you for help, then?"
Six months into being a hairstylist, I've finally gotten used to the job. However, I'm still only assigned menial tasks. I didn't expect to handle clients right after my debut, but I'm ready to move on to the next stage.
While tidying up and taking care of miscellaneous tasks in the break room, my senior poked her head in. She's the ace of this salon, with quite a few clients who come specifically for her.
"Oh? You haven't gone home yet?"
"I did leave, but I noticed I forgot my makeup pouch... Did you see it around here?"
"No... I haven't seen it."
"I see..."
My senior visibly slumped her shoulders and immediately began searching everywhere. Even though I thought it unlikely to be in such a place, her serious demeanor made me pause what I was doing.
"Um, would you like me to help?"
"Hmm... should I ask you for help, then?"
"Leave it to me."
This is my chance to repay my senior who always helps me with work concerns. I want to find it quickly and prove I'm a reliable junior.

2. "More than me?"
On our day off, we went to an observation deck my girlfriend had been wanting to visit. It's not particularly tall or famous, but it has comfortable chairs, plenty of food and drinks, and is secretly popular. To be honest, I hadn't expected much, but the clear skies today allowed us to see far across the city, and I was genuinely impressed.
"It's prettier than I thought it would be."
I ended up sounding a bit cynical, as somehow being straightforwardly complimentary felt embarrassing.
"More than me?"
What is she saying? I looked at her to find her face noticeably red. Probably because she'd been drinking several cocktails despite it being daytime.
"Sure, sure."
I brushed it off casually, but whether because she was drunk or in a good mood, she seemed more sensual than usual, and I felt my desire rising. Obviously, we couldn't do anything in a place like this, but...

3. "This is the worst..."
My apartment neighbor, whom I keep running into for some reason, always seems somewhat accident-prone. The first time we talked was when I helped her after she fell down the stairs.
Whenever we meet, we end up in long conversations. Before I knew it, we were going shopping and walking together. She probably doesn't have any romantic feelings for me and just thinks of me as a compatible neighbor. But I've been falling for her more and more.
Today, we were leisurely walking toward a park on a nearby hill when suddenly a thunderstorm hit just before we reached it. We had no umbrellas. Soaking wet, we ran desperately and took shelter in the park's simple gazebo.
"This is the worst..."
She began taking off her jacket. Her chest was naturally accentuated, and the rain made her underwear clearly visible through her clothes. I knew I shouldn't stare too much or she'd notice, but I couldn't look away.
Wicked thoughts crossed my mind. Just the two of us in a thunderstorm. No one would likely come here. No one would know what we did. Though I knew it was wrong, my body wouldn't listen to reason.
