Weekly Report: Still At Work Edition
🕑 Added 2019-06-09 11:38:57 +0000 UTCSo for the early viewers, the barebones version of the game as been added in the dropbox. Everything is subjected to change and the build is of last month. There are cheats in there so the fights are actually possible. Heavily not balanced what-so-ever. But you know, there's something there for you guys to know it's being worked on. Just, it's still going to change a lot. The GUI isn't even in yet.
Still months away from release, least you know something other than my random adding of text files is being done. Long road ahead though. Mostly all I've been doing though so far. Just so much to add. Kind of excited to see when it all comes together though. Still writing some more fights so there will be 5 or so with the first release, and then have to write the skills and debuffs.
I'm making leveling a special thing where you need to go to someone to actually do it. Since this is more of a character driven thing more than anything, thought the way you level is by certain people teaching you would be a better choice. Going to the gym and talking to Gen, Trald, or Ferron, and asking one of them to help you train. Then asking different people will raise different stats higher than the other and teach you different skills based on their personality, that sounds more fitting of something I'd make than just add in points to x stats.
Sounds great, but that means each person needs a scene if you visit them for every level up. I don't want it to just be, you two rolled in the bed for hours then that's, that. I want it to be an actual event where you're doing something with them. Like maybe with Ferron, since he hangs out with Warren and Bloodthirster so much, they'll join in and "help". That sounds like something I would do, right?
