🕑 Added 2025-01-08 15:41:40 +0000 UTCThe sad story of Dr. Rudolph van Richten revolves mostly around the loss of his family, in particular his son Erasmus who was kidnaped, murdered by a vampire, and then spared a horrible fate by his father's wits and empathy. Erasmus returns as a good-natured phantom in van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, and Dragnacarta was kind enough to allow him to assist the players during an arc of Curse of Strahd: Reloaded. Father and son remain separated by the veil between worlds... for now.
My first passes at Erasmus didn't quite capture the puckish humor and sunny disposition that he's meant to radiate, even in death. Hopefully i managed to capture it in the end.

I was struggling to think how to really get into the roleplaying side of a character like Erasmus, and this picture has singlehandedly annihilated any doubt in my mind. Great work, simply amazing stuff.
