Glad you did the video, Singapore worth seeing

Hi Michelle I grew up in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and have made many a trip to Singapore. I now reside in Sydney Australia so if you're ever in my neck of the woods would love to show you around Sydney. So much to learn to be a pilot you do it so well. Cheers
Dave
Okay thanks Michelle. I understand why not now.
Michelle
Not really since I would have to hold a camera which inhibits me from doing my job. I can create the cockpit videos because I can put the cameras in place during cruise and forget about them until we have come to a complete stop at the gate
Dave
Can you also do a video of a walk round the plane. It would be interesting to see all the things you inspect, prior to a flight.
Michelle
Still trying to include that in videos but I always have to consider the privacy of my colleagues.
Dave
Are you able to give some of the chatter with the capt and ATC
Michelle
Thanks! No still working for Transavia :)
Michelle
Thanks Ian! I've only been to Singapore once :) It all depends on the kind of airport, how well you know it, the routing and the amount of NOTAM's haha
Michelle
Thanks Dave, appreciate the feedback and managed to insert some more interesting facts during those parts of the video! Have a nice day!
Michelle
Thanks for your kind words Sean! I am still only rated on the 737. This wasn't me flying the plane, just tagging along :)
Michelle
Thanks for the heads up, the mistake was corrected in the final video :) I wasnt flying the 777, just tagging along. Still flying the 737 :) There arent that many differences between the 777 and 737 though..Most people find it quite straightforward to transition from one to the other
Michelle
Thanks Alan!
Michelle
Thanks Julian, I will add comments about the differences between the two aircraft in an upcoming video! It wasnt me who was piloting the 777. I was just tagging along but didnt want to keep the view for myself ;)

Lovely to see this video. Do you work for KLM now?
Ian Arnold
Thanks for another excellant posting Michelle. Was this your first time flying to Singapore. Do you have to do a lot more pre flight homework and getting to know the layout of the airport? I say it again you have the best office in the world. The view is amazing and your insights so valuable. I never knew you shut down one engine during taxi to save fuel. Well done on another informative video. Thanks again Michelle
Dave
Another great video. I wonder if you can put anymore labels in as there was alot of cloud and nothing to look at during those parts. I don't know if you can but it would be great to hear audio of perhaps radio talk with ATC or between pilots. As you are now flying the 777 can we see more of the control layout. Well done Michelle and keep it. Up.

Goede avond Michelle. Congrats on the B777 type rating. Another great video with many good details. I cannot see anything to change, add or delete . I hope you enjoyed your visit there. It is an amazing place, one that I have had the pleasure of visiting as crew many times.
James Cockburn
Another interesting video, thank you. Good to see you flying a 777, I guess there was quite a lot of training time spent switching from the 737 systems? Your message above says it's a take off, maybe worth correcting? Great that you're keeping up the good work.
Alan Wilkinson
Excellent video Michelle. Keep them coming. Take care. If there ever were an Olympic sport for flying you would have the Gold Medal.

A lot of good things in this video. Among them, dealing with bad weather avoidance, your always detailed operational aspects and pointing out other airlines planes at the airport. One suggestion, if there are any main differences form landing a 737 as compared to a 777, you might want to add a comment or two. I love the fact you were able to pilot a plane to Singapore. Hope this means other interesting inter-continental locations in the future.
