If you're following the regular timeline of events you should have like seven years or so till the start of the regular buu Saga, then I'm not sure how many years passed by by for battle of gods I think it's like at least 3 years because Gohan is no longer in school and working, since the freezer force is still around and Resurrection f is still a thing he could go around nipping future problems in the butt too
