This was another highly requested recipe that I am happy to finally post. Chili mac was one of my favorite MRE meals when I was stationed in Iraq, so it has a special place in my heart :) I can gladly say that this one taste a lot better than the MRE version.
If you're burnt out on turkey or want to switch it to ground beef, it's an easy swap. Nothing will change in the cooking process. You'll just need to account for the calorie and macro difference. If you do 1 lb of ground beef instead of the 2 lbs of turkey in this recipe, you'll still be pretty low calorie for a full meal.
And for those of you that are still having a hard time finding the Barilla Protein Pasta, you can use regular pasta. Regular pasta will have less fiber and slightly less protein, but it's cheaper and much easier to find at the moment.
If you're new to Patreon, or even if you've been here and just need the reminder, don't be afraid to adjust these to make them your own. Don't overthink the process. Keep it as simple and sustainable as possible.

Do we incorporate the broth when calculating macros?
How do you calculate the broth? When you drain the pasta you are getting rid of most of it.
So good and so simple! Thank you!

No need to beat yourself up. That's not a huge calorie difference and it wont make much difference in the long run of your daily intake :)
On the fail boat today :( used 93% lean instead of 96% lean, wondered why my calories were much higher 😭
I just finished making this! I started cooking, went to open my turkey…and bam. Rotten smell. So I substituted the turkey with chicken and it tastes amazing! Can’t wait to try it with actual turkey 😂
My favorite recipe of yours so far! 😋
This one was amazing! Full of flavor, thank you.
