All my pasta lovers can take a breath......it's time for a new recipe!
When I was in Greece many years ago, I discovered a popular appetizer. It's called Feta Bouyiourdi, and it is AMAZING! I cook it often and eat it with pita bread. So I thought to myself, how can I turn this into a meal? And so here we are!
I have received a lot of requests for a vegetarian meal prep so I figured this would be the perfect dish. With the protein pasta and the cheese, it still clocks in at over 20g of protein. But if you want to bump that number up, a chicken breast can easily be added to this meal.
And if you want to make this into the traditional Greek appetizer one day, simply follow the instructions in the video, but instead of a baking dish, just use a large piece of aluminum foil that you can fold over. Place your olive oil, cheese, veggies, and seasoning all into the aluminum foil, close it up, cook it, and enjoy!

This has been one of my favorite meals. I decided to use 2 med heads of cauliflower chunked up instead of pasta and added grilled chicken and it was so good! I’ve been making this since the recipe dropped and never thought to substitute the pasta like this till last night.
Made this a couple of weeks ago and still dreaming about it! Can't wait to make it again!
Has anyone tried this with vegan feta cheese? I have a dairy allergy so trying to substitute and wondered about consistency
Made this, this week. It is amazing. I added in some ground venison for added protein and some mushrooms. Definitely will make again.
Thank you for giving such a good recipe! The feta pasta I normally make is very high calorie and unhealthy but I crave it often. I made yours last night but used cherry tomatoes instead, added spinach and some chicken to the top. It was phenomenal.💕
Found Tomato & Basil Feta cheese at Aldi and used it in this recipe. Yum!
If I were to use mozzarella instead of feta, would the baking instructions be the same? This meal sounds to die for but I'm not a huge feta person.
Has anyone tried this with a vegan feta? Obviously it would change the numbers - but just curious about the taste.

You could use parmesan or goat cheese if you like either of those. Or even a mild cheese like mozzarella
