Preview: 2 Minutes of Theodore
🕑 Added 2025-01-26 13:00:12 +0000 UTCI'm no good at following my own directions. My idea with the new Theodore cartoon was too make it longer, but with very limited animation. That way I could have more dialogue, but produce it in the same amount of time.
Yet, here I am (nearly finished with the thing) and it's certainly the best-animated of the Theodore cartoons. I mean, I'm not exactly making Disney-Quality-Cartoons here, but it's above the standard of my usual stuff.
You'll have the full thing in the next few days (Tuesday/Wednesday I'd say). But because you've been so wonderful and patient, here are the first two minutes in pencil-test-form.
You'll notice I do lip sync on a separate layer, after everything is done. That's because I'm lazy. Animating moving chins? Who am I? Some kinda...good...cartoon guy?

The Italian grandma and the Mobsters are so good. I love the group of Mobsters all saying hello back to Theodore! XD reminds me of when my Dad's illegal type friends all knew my Mom before he even did haha. Can't share full details but I love the story.
