This particular commission was kindly gifted to me! It features the true main character of TFS: R's cat. (I'm only kidding.) We see a different side of Reese while he's content and relaxing in his room alongside more of him. 👀 Thank you to both of them for this storybook style art. This artwork takes place inside of the Verner heir's bedroom. We see Reese reclining back on his king-sized (emperor?) bed, lounging on the pillows while supporting his head with his hand. He is shirtless, showcasing his toned physique honed through his runs and inside of the mansion's private gym. Royal purple is the color of his pajama pants that ride slightly low on his waist. His expression is fond, if not content. He's looking over at where Nox, his cat, is presenting his tummy in the air and seems to have fallen asleep in such a trusting/adorable pose. A book has been discarded with a bookmark in front of them while Reese takes a second to relax with his cat, but also appreciate his own space without any prying eyes.

Maybe it’s the softness of it all? But in addition to looking peaceful & quiet & cozy, maybe that’s what’s freaking me out & making me concerned because this is Fernweh after all… and he just looks sooo content… and sooo peaceful… and that just feels way too vulnerable for anyone in Fernweh, but esp for him in Fernweh. He deserves to look like this, though! He deserves all the wonderful bliss & love & goodness in his life. But. I worry. For reasons. You know? 💔❤️🩹🖤
