It seems like my pit mix sees way more value in grabbing the toy and running away with it (so she can sit down and rip it to pieces) than playing tug with me even if I throw it an inch away. Am I not being engaging enough? I provide her with chew toys that she likes and will occasionally toss her a cheap toy that I let her rip up. I don't let her destroy the tug toys and she doesn't gaurd her toys so I'm a little lost on how to convince her that tug and eventually fetch are the best games ever.
Ooh fetch. I want to get my Zeus to catch a frisbee.
