Sure! It’s pretty straightforward! You study spellbook to equip that spell, getting a single use of it. If you *keep* studying, without a break, for the same amount of time again, then it advances the spell. You can do this any number of times, though obviously you run into things like exhaustion and focus issues. Also at certain breakpoints, spells level up too, which adds a qualitative change and also means you’ll need a higher level spell slot, or else it’ll just leak out of your brain.

Could someone give me a recap on how the verdigris venture spell system works please? Like how does a spell get + vs just adding more of the same spell? Basically a full rundown of how it works please!

Horticulturalist nitpick here: what species do you mean by gooseberry? I'm east of the Mississippi and all of our genus Ribes are shrubs. A quick google tells me there are trailing Ribes in the PNW but those are still shrubs, like raspberry/blackberry, not vines. But kiwiberry (Actinidia spp.) are vines that are sometimes called Chinese gooseberry. So I am curious which vining plant you meant
