The shovel seems like a really big deal? Few places have humans built so deeply that the dirt is fully disconnected, so wouldn't the shovel allow a caster, like several miles of range most of the time?

Very fun to see a big chunk of JP, especially because it would tick him off severely to know he was being observed. Also, it was nice to see Debt’s repatriation proceeding. I do worry that without him the ex-FBI team is going to be forgotten for a while and turn up even more bedraggled and confused.
