Kenneth awoke to his morning wood pressing against the fresh wad of fat clinging to his navel. He stroked his dick a few times and then sniffed his hand. He was ripe. His own jizz was still encrusted atop his belly fat from the night before and cartons of Muscle Milk lay next to his bed. He supposed he needed to shower.
Kenneth had remained in something of a hedonistic stupor since returning to LA. He was hitting the gym less, eating tons of junk food, and jerking off several times a day. He barely left his apartment and he wasn’t showering regularly. The bloated little paunch he had developed over the holidays swelled into a bona fide beer belly in the new year. Kenneth was looking chubby and he was barely even conscious of the fact. Wearing sweats 24/7 and staying preoccupied with drinking and gooning all day every day was distraction enough.
He stumbled to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. His scruff was on the brink of turning into a beard and his cock was crowned with a dense bush. He put off shaving for another day but did rinse off in the shower. He threw on his favorite gray sweatpants which were blotchy with food and cum stains and a XXL shirt that draped over him and hadn’t been washed in days.
After ordering McDonald’s delivered for the fifth day in a row, he plopped down on the couch with Xbox controller in hand. As he turned on the TV he received a text from one of his friends: “hey getting a drink with some of the guys this eve if you wanna join.” Kenneth realized the extent to which he’d become a hermit. He hadn’t seen his friends in months and frankly didn’t want to. Still, he agreed to join out of a sense of obligation.
That evening he finally shaved his face. The skin underneath looked bloated from drinking. He pulled up a fresh pair of underwear that got lost in his voluminous ass cheeks. His favorite pair of jeans were a real struggle to get on. They clung to his ham-like thighs and barely got over his dimpled ass. Buttoning them took brute strength and gave him a serious muffin top that was visible from every angle. His favorite black tee didn’t do him any favors either. He looked like he swallowed a pumpkin. Kenneth could no longer avoid his new chubby reality.
He slapped his gut and watched as it jiggled above his snug waistband. Memories of Jude’s overhang and meaty fat pad danced through his head but he quickly tried to shift his thoughts. He threw on his favorite cashmere sweater to discover it barely covered the convex curve of his navel. He then tried an old North Face sweater that clung like a second skin. There was no concealing this extra bulk and he started to get hard knowing that it was all because of Jude.
Kenneth arrived at the bar wearing the ill-fitting cashmere sweater. He felt a bit uncomfortable in his own skin, plus he hadn’t been in a dive bar since he last sucked Jude’s cock over the holidays. He tried unsuccessfully to extinguish the intrusive thoughts about his sister’s partner. He needed a drink but before he could get one he was accosted by a few of his friends.
“Damn, taking the winter bulk seriously I see!”
“I like this belly situation you got going on right now.”
“Okay zaddy Kenneth! She’s giving dad bod this season!”
The comments seemed endless and Kenneth was overwhelmed. He knew the weight gain was obvious but he didn’t anticipate becoming the center of conversation. After a shot and a beer he fled to the bathroom for a moment to himself. He was chunky, he could deny the fact no longer. The scarier thing to admit was Jude’s influence over his bulk, and moreover just how obsessed he was with that man. Was it infatuation that led Kenneth down the path of gluttony? Jude had such a massive belly and a lifetime of internalized fatphobia made Kenneth frightened to admit that not only did he find Jude’s girth sexy, but he also wanted to be that large himself. His head was spinning. He needed another drink.
Kenneth leaned his belly against the bar. While trying to catch the bartender's attention. someone else caught his eye. A svelte man close to his age with a meaty build smiled from across the room. Kenneth felt his loins stir to attention. The man had impressive bone structure with dense alluring scruff and from what Kenneth could tell from a distance, a rotund belly as well. The man received his drink and headed straight for Kenneth.
As he got closer Kenneth felt as though he must be hallucinating. The man was fatter than he seemed, with a good two inches of overhang dipping below his shirt in an overtly intentional manner. Kenneth couldn’t look away. He didn’t know what was happening to him lately but he was absolutely ravenous for the chubby boy.
“I’m Newton,” he said, and shook Kenneth’s hand.
Kenneth introduced himself awkwardly and struggled to continue the conversation. What happened to the confident muscle stud that was Kenneth a mere summer ago? He was now doe eyed over a random fat guy.
“You’re cute,” Newton said. He then placed his hands on Kenneth’s belly and said, “Little baby bear huh?”
For the rest of the night Kenneth abandoned his friends to talk with this handsome overfed stranger. He even worked up the nerve to rub Newton’s exposed belly. Kenneth was fascinated by the man’s red stretch marks and chunky confidence. He learned that Newton was once a twink and was shown photos from three years ago that made his jaw drop. How had such a slender man grown so incredibly porky?
“I like to eat,” was Newton’s response. And with that, Kenneth invited him home.

The next morning Kenneth awoke hungover and disoriented. Newton’s belly spread across Kenneth’s sheets and in the morning light Kenneth got a good look at all the stretch marks. They traveled from his love handles to his belly button, from his thighs to his ass, and even a bit around his arm pits. Kenneth was fascinated. The guy’s body was growing faster than his skin could manage. He then looked at his own beginner belly, sitting warm and fuzzy in his lap, and noticed a stretch mark of his own. It was small but radiant red and was nearly hidden by his happy trail. He fingered the red mark and his cock swung to attention.
Checking his phone for the time, Kenneth noticed a new text message from Jude. He hadn’t heard from the man since Colorado. The message read: “Can’t stop thinking about you.”
