The Perks of Being a Lifeguard
🕑 Added 2024-07-01 15:00:14 +0000 UTCAt the age of nineteen I was still coming to terms with the idea of being attracted to fat guys. Accepting that I was gay was one thing, but being a chubby chaser? That was a whole different hurdle for my psyche to overcome. I tried to convince myself that maybe I just liked buff dudes, or “average” bodies. “Thick” was in? Right? No mental trick worked and finally one summer, the summer before college when I worked as a lifeguard, I was forced to confront my dirty little fetish.
I worked at one of the local beaches, the north end of which was frequented by gay men. I was the youngest lifeguard the city had hired since the 1980s and that fact along with being a newbie meant I never got to choose my outpost. Sometimes I was stationed at the gay beach and other times I was surrounded by tourists and children. Obviously, I yearned for the former. Gay culture was still new to me, or at least gay culture that wasn’t online-based, and so every visit to that corner of the beach felt electric and intoxicating.
Boys in bikinis, of all shapes and sizes and colors, traipsed across the sand. They blasted pop music and flirted and got drunk. Some would even do drugs or get naked. Obviously, I let anything fly so long as I could watch. Every moment was exhilarating, but three in particular stood out.
1. The Barbecue Bears
By all means, it wasn’t unusual for fat guys to sun themselves on the gay beach. The bears and twinks all intermingled, but obviously I only had eyes for the former. Plenty of husky men caught my eye during those days but one particular experience stands out above the rest.
It was a hotter than usual Friday when these three gorgeous bears park themselves right next to my station around noon. Each man seemed more beautiful than the last. The first was a tall White guy with a strong scruffy jaw and James Dean hair. He was pale as can be but his shoulders and chest and even some of his belly were covered with tattoos. He had broad shoulders and nice biceps which framed the hairy belly at his center well. His legs were gargantuan with thighs bigger around than a single twink and an ass that stuck out for days. Unlike his counterparts who were in speedos, he wore short black trunks that still did little conceal how much genuine heft he carried in his rear. I couldn’t help but assume that they simply didn’t make speedos big enough for such a hefty man.
The second guy was much shorter and Latino. He was so smooth and coated in fat it almost reminded me of fudge or clay. Every limb looked puffy and firm with extra poundage, bulging out at the center and tightly curving in at the joint. His bronze skin glistened with sweat. His belly looked particularly heavy and cumbersome, more so than any of the other guys. You could tell it affected his movement, making it difficult to bend over or get up off the ground. He wore the tiniest speedo that clung to his oozing puffy curves, especially his ass, which practically ate the fabric up into a thong.
Last but not least was a Black guy of average height but easily the largest of the group. At the time my naively horny brain clocked him as five hundred pounds, but now I realize he must have been closer to four hundred, maybe even less. Regardless, he was an absolute porker. He wheezed as he walked. His belly hung before him with such rotundity that it completely eclipsed his bulge. His tits oozed out across his large belly and his ass wobbled with every step. One could tell that at some point in his life he had muscles, or maybe he still hit the gym. But one thing was certain, his appetite outpaced not only his muscle gains but also anyone else’s on the beach that day.
These three large men planted themselves near me with a menagerie of equipment that looked like a pain to lug across the sand. They had chairs and blankets and umbrellas and… a barbecue? Indeed, the three piggies had brought a small portable barbecue. I could hardly believe it as they loaded the grill up with ribs and hot dogs while excavating heaps of mac salad and even brownies from their cooler. I couldn’t look away.
They chowed down with gusto. In fact, they seemed to relish in the brazen display of gluttony. Nobody within half a mile could ignore their massive bodies and the smell of barbecue, least of all me. I watched intently as they inhaled their food and washed it down with beer. The Latino bear ate the fastest, he seemed practically starved. While the White guy chowed down with a somewhat performative masculine air. The Black bear remained slow and steady, focused on the food and enjoying every bite.
At one point, the White one said “look at you” to the Latino and patted his protruding belly. I couldn’t hear how the Latino responded but I saw him smile and shake his own belly with both hands. My cock stirred to attention. The Latino then winked at the white guy and patted his pink sunburned thigh. The White one flinched in pain, his body jiggling a bit. He then nodded to the Black guy as if to say “he’s still going, can you believe it?” The Latino smiled and nodded as though he was impressed. He then squeezed the Black guy’s gargantuan love handle and then pointed at his belly, presumably showing how they were almost equal in size. I was hard as a rock and leaking precum.
As the White guy laughed at the comparison he caught my overeager eye. I looked away. He whispered something to the rest of the group and then they all looked up at me. I tried to remain calm as my cock throbbed between my legs. I could hear them murmuring. I clenched my legs together to hide my erection, but in hindsight that probably made it even more obvious.
“Hey lifeguard,” the Latino guy said. “You hungry?” He said this last word with a suggestive tone and I heard the White guy giggle.
I looked down at them. They looked so fucking stuffed, like big old piles of blubber sweating in the sun. My mouth felt parched. I could have orgasmed with only the slightest of touch.
“Uh, I- I- can’t leave my post. Sorry.” I managed to get out.
“Okay, it’s pretty delicious down here if you want to check it out,” the Latino said and patted his belly.
“Thanks,” I squeaked.
For the next two hours it took every fiber of my being not to look down towards the three barbecue bears. When they finally left I watched intently as they slowly waddled down the beach. Several yards away, nearly to the parking lot, the Latino turned around and blew me a kiss. My face flushed red.
2. A Hefty Heimlich
The concept of an ex-jock had titillated my psyche since my first orgasm. Of course, growing up I stared in wonderment at dads whose muscle mass began to lose definition behind a layer of chub. That was different from seeing the transformation first hand though. I had seen pictures online and I read gainer erotica about the jock who lost control and put on a belly, but I simply didn’t have the life experience to have encountered such a transformation first hand. Until…
In the distance I noticed the unmistakable physique of an ex-jock. Broad shoulders lumpy with muscles, a fat curve to the ass, and a belly that stuck out a good six inches more than the other guys he was with. I kept my eyes trained on the group as they approached, trying to discern just how plump my favorite one was. I wasn’t at the gay beach so this was the most excitement I’d gotten all day.
As they got closer I realized something. The ex-jock was an old high school classmate I hadn’t seen in years. His name was Justin and he had played lacrosse back in the day and always stood out for having a juicy bubble butt. He was fit and trim in those days. As he got closer I tried to remember what he looked like, V-shape, washboard abs, so that I could gauge how much he’d gained. Judging by the wobble in his step, I guessed it was probably about thirty or forty pounds, maybe more but it was hard to be certain.
Luckily, they parked themselves within a reasonable view of me and set up camp. They were typical straight boys with a thirty pack of Bud Light and a football. All of them were in peak physical condition with tanned muscles that glistened in the sun and made Justin’s body appear paler and porkier in comparison. I was entranced as he bent over to help spread out their blanket, causing the chub at his waist to bunch up into distinct rounded rolls of flesh. He stood up breathing heavily. His strong pecs expanded above the paunch beneath them. He was the first to crack a beer.
Five minutes later he crunched the empty can inside his palm and grabbed another. One of his buddies suggested they shotgun their first, which technically was Justin’s second. After the beers they tossed the ball around for a bit before drinking more. Justin was winded and laid down on the blanket. He plopped down heavily causing his heft to reverberate from the impact. At one point he sat up, looking sunburned and flustered, and wiped the sweat from his brow and then from the crease beneath his tits. My cock was fully erect; I couldn’t help it.
About ten minutes later the group decided to order some chicken wings from the counter nearby, and Justin and one other went off to complete the errand. The two returned with more than enough wings and a couple of plates of fries. Justin was also finishing off an ice cream cone.
“Ice cream too? No wonder you look like that.” One of them teased Justin, who seemed unphased and grabbed a wing from the plate.
Watching the guy eat was insane. It looked like he was in a wing eating contest or something. The way he downed one after another in mere seconds was almost alarming. I looked at the other boys who were gnoshing at a normal pace. I looked back over at Justin and couldn’t help but covertly squeeze the hard-on throbbing against my thigh.
Just then, Justin sat up abruptly. His shoulders jerked back and then forward and his eyes began to bulge. My heart dropped. He looked like he was choking. He shook one of his friends who began to shout once he realized what was wrong. I leapt down from the lifeguard tower, hopeful my erection wasn’t visible due to the speed by which I darted over to Justin. He stood to his feet and I readied myself behind him.
I wrapped my arms around the top of his belly. It was unbelievably soft. My hands and forearms sunk into the delicious chub and my erection pressed against the dense padding of his ass cheeks. I performed the maneuver. His body was heavy and slick with sweat so it took a few tries, but eventually a bone shot out of his mouth. I stepped away, thankful my dick had softened up in the process.
He and his buddies thanked me. Seemingly none of them recognized who I was even though we had shared several classes not too long ago. I didn’t mind. Getting to feel up Justin was more than enough to fuel my fantasies for years to come.
3. The Curvy Couple
It wasn’t unusual to see couples at the gay beach. They came in all types and were a welcome vision of the future for my horny and desperate nineteen year old brain. I enjoyed stealing glances of heavy petting and kisses and shoulder rubs. It was food for my imagination. However, there was one couple that was almost more than I could handle.
They were probably in their mid-twenties and arrived during the peak of the afternoon already looking a little drunk. The beach was crowded but they found a spot conveniently near my tower. One of the guys looked naturally heavy set, as though he’d been thick his whole life with a big soft chest, bouncy belly, curvy love handles, and wide thighs. He was a bit taller and darker and maybe even a few years older than his boyfriend.
The boyfriend was an energetic otter who had the burgeoning signs of relationship weight gain. His fuzzy tummy was soft and jiggly, bulging over the waistband of his briefs when he sat down. He sported a baby pair of love handles and thick thighs and a fat ass. He was pale but hirsute and I could easily imagine him growing as plump, or even plumper, than his boyfriend someday. He had the makings of a bear, at least in my mind’s eye.
They had an adorable set up as I discovered couples often like to do at the beach. A picnic basket was filled with bread, meats, and cheeses, two bottles of wine, store bought chocolate cake, and a very out of place looking bag of family sized cool ranch Doritos. At the time, I was deeply envious. Why couldn’t it be me fattening up alongside a doting chubby boyfriend? I wanted to have cute indulgent lunches by the ocean and kiss and touch each other’s swelling bodies. I sighed, frustrated and horny.
I kept my eyes on the boys all day, observing their strong appetites and puppy dog eyes. The larger one seemed especially infatuated with his boyfriend. He was constantly rubbing the soft flesh of his boyfriend’s pale inner thigh and kissing him in random places. Perhaps I was reading into things, but he also seemed to encourage his smaller partner to keep eating and drinking. Whenever the smaller one took a break, the larger one held up a bite of something or at least a cup of wine.
I was lost in the moment they were having when my colleague stomped up the stairs and relieved me of my shift. It was late, I was tired, and frankly happy to put the happy couple out of my mind. I packed up my belongings and headed towards the bathroom. After rinsing off in the outdoor shower I found a stall to change in. As I slipped my briefs over my package I heard footsteps and drunken giggles enter the room. I peeked through the crack of the stall and it was them- the couple.
Their bellies were pressed against one another as they sloppily locked lips and bit at each other’s necks. The smaller one kept both his hands on the larger one’s love handles, occasionally shaking them. He seemed to enjoy his boyfriend’s girth. The larger one jiggled quite a bit as they stumbled against the sinks nearby. The smaller ones juicy bubble butt pressed against the ledge of the sink. His arms looked sunburned as he reached into his boyfriend’s swim trunks.
His movements were loose and imprecise. The larger one’s hard-on consequently snapped free of the fabric and I got a delectable glimpse of his fat pad between quivering thighs. The smaller one stroked the larger one’s shaft for a moment before the larger one turned the smaller one around. He yanked down the chubby otter’s speedo so that his pale fat ass bounced free. He tapped his cock against the ass causing it to jiggle further.
Somewhat wobbly, the larger one squatted down. In this position his love handles spread extra wide and connected to the belly that hung between his legs. His thighs also spread out and looked especially flabby. He faced the otter’s pale and fuzzy bubble butt. I could faintly make out white stretch marks striating the mounds of fat ass cheek. The larger one looked ravenous as his hands sunk into the bottom crease where the ass cheek turned to thigh and gave the mass a vigorous jiggle.
“Fuuuck,” the larger one moaned. “Your ass is getting so fat.”
He spread the cheeks wide revealing a dark trail of hair concealing the otter’s fresh hole. He sunk his face into the crevice and at that moment my foot slightly shifted on the sandy tile floor. It made a scuffing sound. Both men immediately spotted my feet beneath the closed stall door. The larger one stood up as quickly as he could.
“Uh, sorry!” he said, and then under his breath: “Come on, let’s go.”
They stumbled out of the bathroom. I was in shock as my erection soaked through my underwear. I couldn’t think. I just desperately stroked my cock until I erupted all over the cold metal bathroom stall.

It’s been about fifteen years since those glittering days of ogling and exploration in the sun. I look back now and dually yearn for the naivete of those early experiences and thank the lord I’ve grown past the anxiety and insecurity of those years.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, I’ve put on a bit of weight myself since then. Small gains were hard won in my twenties and I put on a fair amount of muscle mass with rigorous gym routines and calorie counting. Finally, when I hit thirty I was blessed by my metabolism slowing down. It wasn’t obvious at first, like what you read online, but it became increasingly noticeable as the years passed. Those five pounds of winter weight, that pasta binge on vacation, the pack of Boost I drank in a horny furor– it all stuck around.
My thighs got thicker, my ass juicer, and, of course, my belly rounded out. I have to say, it was exhilarating to experience my body developing into a form I had so long desired on others. I received more attention from men my type, my size and larger. I enjoyed the way my clothes clung to my curves and dug into my extra flesh. I could barely keep my hands off of myself as I remembered the nineteen year old lifeguard I used to be, and then a thought occurred to me…
I opened the bottom drawer of my dresser and dug around in the very back until I fished out that little red Speedo from back in the day. I stripped naked, propped my phone up on my dresser and hit record.
One leg at a time, I pulled the speedo up around my waist. It was tight, but I could still get it on. Barely. My thighs and waist ballooned out over the cinching of the openings. My cock was utterly compressed and my ass cheeks spilled out of the back like a cake pan that was overfilled with batter. I turned and admired all angles of my thickness. I bent over and… rip! Right up the middle of my ass the fabric tore wide open. Oh, how things have changed.
